Red Man Son of Joe Hancock and sire of Blue Valentine one of the greatest arena horses

"Red Man, one of Joe Hancock's greatest sons, was a terrific sire of rope and race horses.    He was bred by the Burnett Ranches and was out of a Burnett Ranch mare.   Because of his ears, which were frozen off when he was a foal, Red Man was sometimes referred to as "the Cyrano de Bergerac of horses".    He was owned much of his life by Kenny Gunter of Benson, Arizona."
